Penelope Disick spent her third birthday at Disneyland surrounded by her mom Kourtney Kardashian and her brother Mason Disick, as well as extended family members aunt Kim Kardashian, cousin North West and grandma Kris Jenner.

Notably absent, though, was the adorable girl’s father Scott Disick, with whom Kourtney officially ended things with this past weekend after nine years together. Disick did, however, post what can only be described as an incredibly depressing birthday message to his young daughter on his Instagram account, featuring a collage of paparazzi photos of the girl with the caption, “1 of the only things I’m proud off (sic) about myself. Happybdayp.”

If that doesn’t sound like a man who regrets many of the choices he’s made in his life, we’re not sure what does. Disick was, of course, recently spotted getting touchy-feely with ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli in Monaco last week, which is said to have been one of the catalysts for Kourtney dumping him, coupled with the return of his out-of-control “partying” and substance-abuse issues.
